The Casual Side Part

Get the look:
  • Apply American Crew fiber evenly through the hair (especially important to control thick or wavy hair).
  • Apply American Crew texturising lotion to smooth down any dry ends, resulting in a polished look.
  • Part the hair at a point so that the line of the part would meet the outside of the eye.

The Modern Quiff



Get the look:
  1. Blow-dry the hair using Kevin Murphy fresh hair to give the hair some mild hold and thickness.
  2. Brush the hair back over both sides with a small round brush to straighten the hair.
  3. Brush the hair down towards the face blow-drying from underneath on a cold setting to mould the fringe into the quiff shape.
  4. Apply American Crew grooming crème to give the hair a medium hold with a natural shine.
  5. Pull the hair upwards and lightly run hands back through the hair from the fringe to the crown to separate the hair and give a textured look.

    The Brush Back

    Get the look:
    1. Spray a light volumiser, such as Kevin Murphy Hair Resort, over the hair.
    2. Blow-dry hair back and up with a bristle brush. (If you don’t have a hair dryer, towel dry thoroughly and roughly to get volume, then apply product and let it dry naturally.)
    3. Apply a small amount of light styling cream, such as Kevin Murphy Easy Rider, to the hair then rake through and back with your fingers.
    4. Lightly blow-dry upwards to get height.
    5. Finish by applying a light hairspray.

    The Modern Pompadour

    Get the look:
    1. Apply and comb volumiser through towel dryed hair.
    2. Blow-dry while combing through fingers, to push back sides and to create lift through the top.
    3. Apply a small amount of American Crew super glue to add hold and definition.

    The Square Cut

    Get the look:
    1. Comb through a grooming spray to towel dryed hair.
    2. Blow-dry whilst combing hair with fingers to create lift through the top.
    3. Applying a small amount of volumising powder to roots hold volume.

    The James Dean Cut

    Get the look:
    1. Blow-dry hair, combing through with fingers to push back the sides and to create lift through the top.
    2. Finish off by applying American Crew super glue to slick back the hair and hold it in place.

    The Wavy Raise

    Get the look:
    1. On damp hair, apply Davines No.4 glossy modelling putty and work through hair.
    2. Using your fingers and a blow-dryer, lift hair in an upwards direction.
    3. Spread some Davines No. 6 glossy plasteline through hands and work through hair from the roots to the tips.
    4. Use a comb for added definition if required.

    The Polished Blow Back

    Get the look:
    1. Towel dry hair and add a volumiser
    2. Blow-dry hair, combing through with fingers to push back the sides and create lift through the top.
    3. Apply American Crew boost powder to the roots to create a matte finish and added height.

    Cropped Curls

    Get the look:
    1. On damp hair apply a creamy pomade to control curls.
    2. Using fingers, position the hair in the direction of the style.
    3. Once air-dried, soften the look by running fingers through the hair to loosen the hold of the product.
    4. Re-apply a small amount of product for added volume.

    The Blow Down

    Get the look:
    1. Apply and comb through American Crew light hold texture lotion.
    2. Blow-dry while combing fingers forward through the hair.
    3. Apply a small amount of grooming cream to add texture, hold and shine

    The Corporate Quiff

    Get the look:
 
    1. Spray American Crew medium hold spray gel lightly over the hair, distributing it evenly with a comb or vent brush.
    2. Blow-dry hair up and across the head, pulling and directing the hair from the roots with fingers or a vent brush.
    3. Part the hair at the side and push over lightly with a comb.
    4. Apply a very small amount of holding cream to the sides and the back of the head with fingertips, avoiding the top of the head.
    5. Spray lightly all over with American Crew grooming spray for a natural finish.

    The Curly Long Cut

    Get the look:
    1. Apply a 20cent piece of American Crew curl construct to towel dry hair and let it dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser attachment slowly while scrunching the natural curl.
    2. Finish off with a small amount of American Crew defining paste to define the curls.

    Get the look:
    1. Comb through American Crew boost cream through towel dried hair.

    Get the look:
    1. Comb through American Crew boost cream to towel dried hair.
    2. Blow-dry on low speed whilst combing through with fingers - to create lift through the top.
    3. Apply a small amount of American Crew curl construct to define curls and add texture.

    The Messy Bedroom Cut

    Get the look:
    1. Comb through volume cream to towel dryed hair.
    2. Blow-dry while combing through with fingers
    3. While blow-drying, push back sides and push the top forward.
    4. Scrunch holding cream through with finger tips.

    The Textured Fringe

    Get the look:
    1. Apply a styling texturiser to the hair.
    2. Smooth out the hair with a blow-dryer and brush.
    3. Sharpen the texture on the ends with a flat iron.
    4. Apply a small amount of a matte clay through the hair and position in place.
